Citizenship or a valid work visa
Singita Sabi Sand wants a Senior Sommelier to run wine service, tastings and the cellars across its lodges. A rare lodge-based sommelier post.
The role
- Pair wines with menus and guest preferences
- Run wine tastings for guests
- Manage cellar stock and bulk wine storage
- Move wine and restock lodge cellars
- Handle wine sales, invoicing and stock admin
- Train staff across several lodges
What they are looking for
- Sommelier qualification (Cape Wine Diploma or equivalent)
- WSET Level 3
- 3 years in guest-facing hospitality
- Broad knowledge of international wines
- MS Office skills, MS Project a plus
- Sales and leadership ability
- Valid driver's licence
