Samara is hiring a senior ecologist to lead conservation and reserve management across 27,000 hectares of Karoo.

  • Needs a conservation or ecology qualification and 10 or more years in senior protected-area roles
  • Runs wildlife management, monitoring, the anti-poaching unit and security
  • English and Afrikaans required, plus GIS and EarthRanger skills
  • 4×4 licence and firearm competency needed
